Excavator Operator

$30–$45 per hour · Renton, WA

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction site operations. You will play a crucial role in our construction projects, making sure work is done efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes and graders on construction sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to keep it running well.
• Work with site supervisors and other team members to carry out project plans.
• Do horizontal drilling and paving work as project specifications require.
• Safely transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks when needed.
• Keep a clean, organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment.
• Proven commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license.
• Skilled on excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders and other construction machinery.
• Familiar with construction site practices and safety standards.
• Experience with Caterpillar machinery preferred but not required.
• Able to operate tanker trucks to transport materials as needed.
• Knowledge of horizontal drilling is a plus.
